I am a literacy volunteer in South Africa. I work one-on-one with kids who are struggling to learn English. The activities in our sessions- reading out loud together, discussing past books we have read, playing language building games - are mostly driven by the students, so they feel empowered in their own learning.
Age-Level of the Boy(s) I work with:
- Intermediate (ages 9-11)
- Middle School (ages 12-14)
